Dad's Donuts, Burbank

Top: assorted stale donuts.

They really needs to be cake donuts. I don't care for yeast donuts. Strike that. I don't *like* yeast donuts and someday soon I'm sure I'll rant about them so you have that to look forward to. 

As for these particular 'nuts, maybe going into the shop an hour before close was a mistake, as these tasted elderly.  Strike THAT. They were pretty much lousy. Alas. Some donuts just aren't given a fair chance at life.

Burbank is really strange. I don't know how to explain it further so I'm just leaving it at that. When I find the good donuts (I know they are here somewhere) I'll be more at ease.
